Diamine Syrah – Ink Review

Posted by Patrick Sikes in fountain pens | pens | review

I finally had time to try out some of the inks from the October Ink Drop from Goulet Pens.  This was also a great time to try out one of the new 1.5 mm stub/italic nib that we have recently sourced.  I loaded Syrah up in a Black and White Banded TruStone Baron style fountain pen.

I was excited to try this ink out as I really love red inks and J. Herbin 1670 spends quite a bit of time in my pens.  I like the flow and shading characteristics of this ink however the color is not something that I use on a daily basis.
